What I am thankful for:
Where do I begin? My cousin suffered from cancer for the last two years of her life. She faught and faught to live, her struggle and will to live, is the encouragement that will make me succeed in life. I do not ever doubt life, or wonder why we are here, I am just thankful I am here, and will treat every day as a gift just as she did. She died a couple of weeks ago and because of schooling I was not able to attend her funeral. I know she knows I loved her, and she was like a sister to me, we grew up doing everything together. I am only 31 and this is the first close death to me in my life. I was depressed for a couple of weeks, just so many questions came to mind and not finding the answers I was looking for. She will not be here for Thanksgiving to celebrate but I feel in my heart she truly lived her life, and she said she had no regrets. I decided this is what I will do for myself as well, I will live my life finsish school, get my degree, make my kids proud, and my husband proud, and I will live my life for once I will go towards the end instead of running from it. Life is short I realized this, it really is, but that is why we must cherish it and do everything that it takes to enjoy our family, friends, and all the things we cherish most, because it won't go with us when we leave.
Family, my little girls, and my husband is what I am most thankful for this year, and being alive to share it with them, being here, and truly living my life.

I am thankful for the happiness God has put back into my heart. I lost my mother on Oct. 8th of this year. She battled cancer for over 4 years. I am thankful to God for saving my soul and when my body dies I can go to Heaven. I know my mom is there too. I am thankful for my family for helping me through this time without my mom.
